Esperance’s most popular destination. Cape le Grande National Park is only 45 min drive from Esperance. A great destination for hikers, photographers, surfers or people who just want to enjoy the spectacular coastal scenery, with granite peaks sweeping down into bright blue bays borded with brilliant white sand. Chat to the kangaroos on the beach at Lucky Bay and swim in the clearest water imaginable.

Our favourite place is Cape Arid National Park. 125km from Esperance it is wild and remote with near pristine wilderness. Although best explored with a 4WD there are also stunning beaches and bays accessible with 2WD that you can have all to yourself. It offers some of the best whale watching locations in Esperance.

This beautiful video captures the moment a pair of whales came up to say hello to a local paddle boarder. This footage was captured at Fourth Beach in Esperance, only 3km from Stowaway and has had millions of views and shares since it was posted online.

Check out the beach across from Stowaway Accommodation with this aerial footage of  West Beach, Esperance

The following footage of a large pod of dolphins surfing at West Beach is directly across the road from Stowaway. Look out for the baby dolphin and the sweeping view of the beach that is opposite your accommodation at Stowaway Esperance.
